Introduction to the Department:
The Department of Electro-Business presently has three majors: electronic business, information management and information system and marketing. Among them, electronic business is the key component of the curriculum.
The department has a faculty with excellent professional visions and morality. It has established a set of evaluating and stimulating mechanisms to enforce in-class teaching management and teacher-student interaction. It has set up the electro-business laboratory, a reference room, the e-business project research and research center to improve the teachers and students’ innovative awareness and practical ability.
The department makes good use of its internal and external resources to conduct college-enterprise cooperation and insists on a practice-oriented education. It aims to foster senior students with innovative spirits who can meet the social needs in the field of electronic business, information management and marketing.

Introduction to the Majors:
Electronic Business (Undergraduate)
This major takes electronic business as its main educational orientation and aims to foster versatile and practical individuals who can apply the professional knowledge to conduct actual marketing affairs such as electronic business market analysis, electronic business designing, research, promotion, channel sales, and electronic payments. Students of this major are required to acquire operational and application ability of a mature electronic business platform, as well as conduct independent venture through electronic business websites.
Electronic Business (for the orientation of online finance and electronic payment)
This major places emphasis on online finance and electronic payment and the students are required to apply modern information techniques such as online financial platform and network techniques to conduct various online financial transactions. They are expected to master modern financial theories, domestic financial policies and regulations as well as international conventions so as to acquire the basic skills of processing the relative affairs of commercial banks, security companies. They will conduct various financial businesses with skillful computer techniques and financial English.
Marketing (Undergraduate)
This major aims to foster enterprise marketing management students who have mastered the basic knowledge and skills of electronic business, marketing management and planning, finance and network. Students of this major will be familiar with the procedures of enterprise marketing management and apply modern techniques to conduct their businesses.
Marketing (Specialist, Orientated in Commercial Supermarkets and Chain- management)
This major aims to enhance the skills of students who have acquired a basic knowledge and ability in economics, management, operational mechanisms of chain-operation, and commercial super-markets. They are to take jobs in enterprises, especially large supermarket market management.
Information Management and Information Systems (Undergraduate)
This major aims to foster special senior talents who are competent for the jobs or posts as information managing, information system analyzing, designing, carrying out, managing and evaluating in the various levels of state administrative sections, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions and scientific research units. Students of this major will acquire the theories of modern management and techniques of computer science. They will be familiar with system theories, the analyzing and designing methods of information systems, as well as the knowledge and ability in information management.
Information Management and Information System (Specialist, Orientated in Governmental Public Information Management)
This major aims to foster senior practical students who are competent for careers in information management and system analyzing, designing, managing and evaluating the various levels of governmental managing sections, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions and scientific research units. Students are required to master the basic theories of modern management and techniques of computer science. They will be familiar with system theories, analyzing and designing methods of information systems as well as the knowledge and ability for information management.
